Bosco delivers key product insights by conducting thorough, extensive interviews with your customers
Figure out why your customers are really buying your product, without the hours of preparation and interviews
AI is at its best when given a specific directive (conduct a specific, goal-oriented interview by asking a series of in-depth, dynamic, inuitive questions). This is what it was made for.
By understanding your customers better, you can create marketing strategies that resonate with them, leading to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Interviewing your customers is difficult, expensive, time consuming, and tiring. Especially for a small business owner. But it's also critical to the success of your business. Until you are able to hire a team of researchers, let Bosco help.
Bosco is a simple, easy-to-use tool that can be installed on your website in minutes. The chat widget can be customized, and the questions can be tailored to your specific needs. And the data is yours to keep and analyze as you see fit.

Here are some of the answers you might be looking for.
Bosco doesn't have a preset list of questions that it asks. Instead, it uses the chosen frameworks to ask dynamic questions based on the customer responses with a specific goal in mind. Each framework is designed to dig into a specific topic, follow up intuitively, and ask questions that will help you understand what your customers are trying to achieve by signing up for or purchasing your product or service. The questions are designed to be open-ended and to get your customers to talk about their experiences and feelings, rather than just answering yes or no questions.
The short answer is yes. If you need Bosco to be customized with your company's name and logo, please reach out to us and we can make it happen.
However, we advise against making Bosco look like a part of your own site for a couple of reasons:
Yes! Although our frameworks come with prompts that are designed and optimized to dig into topics and ask dynamic questions based on the customer responses with a specific goal in mind instead of having a defined list of questions, we understand that there may be some specific questions you want to ask in addition to the goals of the framework. Depending on your plan, we give the ability to add your own custom questions for Bosco to ask.
Yes! If you have customer information that you want to pre-fill Bosco with, you can do so by adding an additional small snippet of Javascript to your site (found on your bot settings page). This step will require a developer to implement. This will allow you to pass in the customer's name, email, and/or phone number to Bosco so the conversation can be tied back to your customer without having to prompt the user to enter their information. If you choose to do this, be sure to uncheck the checkboxes in your bot settings to ask for the customer's name, email, and phone number.
Because the javascript is loaded asynchronously, it will not affect your page speed. Bosco will only load after the rest of your page has loaded, so your customers won't notice any difference in load time.
It depends on the framework chosen and your personal choice. Most of our frameworks, however, are best used on pages where a customer has recently gone through an inflection point in their journey. This could be a landing page immediately after signing up for your product, the receipt page immediately after making a purchase, or the page immediately following a subscription cancellation. Because the customer has already made a decision, they are more likely to be honest and open in their responses, and a survey is less likely to affect their decision.
You can either install the javascript code only on the pages for which you want it to appear (recommended), or you can install it in a site-wide header file and set the domain URLs to only the pages you want it to show up on in your bot settings.
Sure! The best way to do that is to create a page on your site with Bosco on it, and then send the link to that page in an email to your customers. We also provide you with a unique hosted landing page for each bot where you can send customers.
The participation rate will vary depending on the type of customer and where they are in the buying cycle, your business / industry, the page on which Bosco is installed, and many other factors. However, most companies can expect an interview participation rate between 1 and 5%. If you're seeing a lower participation rate, make sure that Bosco is placed after signup, purchase, or cancellation. Customers are much less likely to participate in an interview if they haven't yet completed the action you're asking about.
The short answer is no. Bosco is designed as an interview bot and told not to answer support questions. However, if you like the interface and want to add customer service agents from your company to be able to reach out to customers and field support requests through chat, we may be able to find a custom solution for you. Please reach out to us for more information.
Yes! We have streamlined the setup process if you're an agency and would like to add Bosco to your clients' sites. Just sign up and subscribe to a plan, create different bots for each client, and then embed each bot's javascript snippet on their site. You can then add your clients as users to your account and limit their permissions so they can only view and/or manage their own bots from the dashboard.
If you prefer your clients to sign up for their own accounts and pay, you can do that as well. Just have them sign up and subscribe to a plan, and then they can invite you as an outside contributor to their account to view their conversations.
We would be happy to help walk you through setup steps if you have any questions.
